Donald Trump a afirmat că a fost invitat la Londra de David Cameron
Donald Trump on Friday claimed he has an official invitation to visit Downing Street as he lauded David Cameron as a “nice guy”.
The Republican frontrunner told US broadcasters he was invited to Number 10 earlier this week and “might” make the trip to Britain over the coming months.
Downing Street sources immediately denied the claim – but said Mr Trump would “of course” be welcomed to Number 10 if he is formally selected as the Republican Party’s Presidential candidate this summer.
It follows a war of works between the two men culminating in Mr Trump saying the pair were unlikely to enjoy a good relationship.
But Mr Trump told MSNBC on Friday: “They’ve asked me to visit 10 Downing Street – and I might do it.
“They put out that invitation like two days ago. I’ll do fine with David Cameron – I think he’s a nice guy. I’ll do just fine.”
